Pets in Hospital is a scheme that is being offered to patients and staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and is completely funded by the hospital charity.

We have specially assessed dogs visiting patients and staff at the hospital, helping to reduce their anxiety and enhance patient communication and interaction.

Help us support our NHS by showing your appreciation for the service it provides. You can raise money for the QE, Heartlands, Good Hope or Solihull Hospital by getting involved with our Big Tea celebrations.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, Heartlands Hospital Charity, Good Hope Hospital Charity and Solihull Hospital Charity work University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients during their treatment at our hospitals.

We exists to help fund medical and health research, and support our patients by funding added extras that go over and above what the NHS can provide as standard.

We support patients, families and staff throughout the year at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital, but we are particularly conscious of the need to give that extra support and comfort at Christmas.

In order to help provide Christmas treats for patients and staff to share on Christmas Day, to purchase a toy for poorly children undergoing treatment and to provide the decorations that cheer up our hospitals over the festive period, we try and provide a number of ways you can help us help them.
