QE Cancer Appeal

Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer; an alarming statistic.

However, thanks to you, our fantastic supporters, we have been able to make an enormous difference to the thousands of patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham who have received this terrible news.

You have enabled us to save the lives of those with previously inoperable tumours by bringing two of the world’s most advanced radiotherapy machines – CyberKnife and TomoTherapy – to the hospital.

However, we still need your help. We’ve launched a £1 million appeal to fund drugs trials, which could give patients access to cheaper cancer drugs quicker than anywhere else in the country.
