Almost 10,000 men are diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer every year in the UK.
That shocking statistic is one of the main reasons we fund the Man Van to improve access to screening for men across Birmingham and the wider community, with the aim of picking up cases at an earlier stage.
The Man Van has been designed to offer men a space to talk in private about their health but in a relaxed environment. They can fill out a questionnaire and those at risk of Prostate cancer can have a finger-prick blood test with results ready before they leave.
