
Laryngology Course
This course offers an exciting opportunity for surgical simulation training in Laryngology skills. The morning session will involve a series of lectures covering principles of larynx anatomy, voice assessment, common pathologies, role of speech therapy and approach to practical skills. The afternoon session includes a circuit of five simulation stations on artificial models including microlaryngoscopy, laryngeal lesion excision, vocal cord injection, front of neck access and Botox for spasmodic dysphonia.

West Midlands ENT Simulation Suite, West Corridor Level 5, Heritage Building, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Mindelsohn Way, B15 2GW.
Faculty:
The course will be led by expert ENT Consultants, supported by experienced speech and language therapists and a simulation fellow.
