Sahara Trek

Join your local hospital charity in 2027 and trek across the vast Sahara Desert. This once in a lifetime six-day challenge, will take you across picturesque sandy dunes, dried-up riverbeds, and sun parched earth. Camping for three nights gives you the chance to experience the stunning night sky and spectacular traditional Berber cuisine cooked by the team.

By taking part in the challenge, you could raise much needed funds for a cause close to your heart at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull Hospitals.

Please note:

• There is a minimum sponsorship requirement of £2,500 for this event.
• £2,000 of your minimum sponsorship requirement must be raised by 17 December 2026.
• This event is open to people aged 18 and over. You do not need to be a member of the Charity to take part in this event.
• Sign-up deadline is 11 June 2026.
