Critical Care team take on gruelling Wolf Run

An amazing team of 39 members of Critical Care staff across Heartlands and Good Hope Hospitals are taking on the 10K Wolf Run next weekend in Leamington Spa.

The team decided on this challenge when Clinical Practitioner, Dean Naylor and Nurse, Rachel Sawbridge were together on a night shift.

Dean said: "We wanted to do something for the hospital charity to raise funds for our department and we thought the Wolf Run sounded fun, and definitely hard enough to make people want to sponsor us!"

This is not the team's first foray into fundraising however, they also took part in a day-long static cycle at Heartlands and raised an incredible £1,300, and with so many of them for their next challenge they are bound to raise even more!

Laura Power, Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital Charity said: "Thank you to the incredible Critical Care team for taking time out of their easter bank holiday to support the hospital charity, all funds raised allow the Charity to continue to provide 'added extras' over and above that which the NHS can fund, including facilities, equipment and research to benefit patients and staff."
