Read about Peter’s incredible story

When Peter Hatfield, a 68-year-old father of two, fell ill while on holiday, he believed himself to have succumbed to a chest infection; however, he had suffered a ‘silent’ heart attack so severe that he required a life-saving transplant. Only a month following the life-changing surgery, Peter walked his daughter down the aisle, having stated that it was ‘the very thing that I had willed myself to stay alive for’.
Peter’s incredible story of determination and courage has been featured in the Mail Online this morning; you can read the story in full here.
