Specsavers get festive on Jumper Day for Good Hope!
Specsavers in Sutton Coldfield created their very own version of Festive Jumper Day and made it last a whole weekend, getting as many staff members and customers involved in supporting the Christmas appeal at Good Hope Hospital Charity.
This year, Good Hope Hospital Charity’s Christmas appeal is aiming to bring Christmas spirit to everyone at the hospital, this includes patients, families and the staff who will be working throughout the Christmas period.
With plenty of Christmas events to choose from, schools, companies and staff at the hospital have chosen to take part in Festive Jumper Day for the Charity this year to support something close to their hearts.
Andrew Pennicott, from Specsavers, said: “We’ve got the whole team involved in Festive Jumper Day supporting Good Hope Hospital Charity, all of the team have got their festive jumpers on, and they’ve made some donations.
“We continued this over the weekend and have been encouraging our customers to support the Christmas appeal as well as staff.”
Good Hope Hospital treats patients with cancer who have to go through gruelling chemotherapy and elderly patient with dementia who face spending Christmas away from their friends and family, the Charity’s Christmas appeal is aiming to make Christmas a bit more special for everyone this year.

“The Christmas appeal is fundraising to help the Charity fund festive hampers for staff who will be working on Christmas Day and the patients that will be in the hospital over the festive period.
