Access Self Storage Birmingham stores launch Christmas Appeal
The fantastic team at Access Self Storage Selly Oak will be once again taking donations of toys and games to donate to young people being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
A 50 square foot storage room at Access Self Storage Selly Oak has been set aside to receive contributions from now until 14 December when the toys, games and presents will be delivered to QEHB. The team from Access Self Storage are inviting local residents and businesses to drop off donations which will help children and families supported by QEHB Charity.
Last year the Selly Oak community set the bar high with a staggering 200 gifts collected for the Charity, a target that they would love to beat this year. Deslynn Barter, manager of Access Self Storage Selly Oak said: “Last year we collected a more than 200 gifts and we were blown away by the generosity in our community. It’s now our fourth consecutive Christmas collecting for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, so we are asking again for your support so we can place a smile on as many children’s faces as we can this Christmas.”
Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity said: “The Charity is thrilled to be chosen again this year as beneficiary of Access Self Storage Selly Oak’s Christmas Appeal. These new toys will give a huge boost to the children we care for over Christmas. We really rely on the support of our community and businesses to be able to provide 'added extras' that are over and above what can be provided by the NHS alone. Every gift really will make a difference to the children who are going to be treated at the hospital over Christmas.”
All of the donations may be left at the reception of Access Self Storage Selly Oak, The Old Bus Garage, Harborne Lane, Birmingham, B29 6SN.
