Could you donate the price of a Christmas card to help military patients this year?

(Patient Advocate and veteran Dave Watson supports the QEHB Christmas campaign)

QEHB Charity would like to thank everyone who continues to demonstrate their amazing ongoing support for military patients. However, please do not send Christmas cards to anonymous soldiers at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham as this causes serious delays to mail from loved ones.

Instead, please consider donating the price you would spend on a card to our Christmas Campaign at qehbchristmas.org - donations will go towards bringing Christmas to all patients who have to be in hospital over the festive period.

You can also support military patients and families by donating to Fisher House at fisherhouseuk.org

Mike Hammond, Chief Executive at QEHB Charity, said: “The sheer volume of Christmas cards which the hospital receives goes to show just how much goodwill and generosity exists for our injured troops, but the mountain of cards we get can mean serious delays to personal mail from clinicians, loved ones and friends. Thank you and Happy Christmas!”
