Halloween party raises money to support relatives wing
Kind-hearted stepmum, Helen Louise Oates, has raised over £1,000 for the relatives wing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, after her stepson, Liam Oates, underwent a liver transplant four months ago.
Helen, who lives in Lancashire, raised £1,310 by holding a spooky Halloween party at The Roebuck in Whittle-Le-Woods, which was supported by generous friends, family members and local businesses.
Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising at QEHB Charity, said: "I'd like to say a big thank you to Helen for raising such a fantastic amount for patients at QEHB."
