Mountain Warehouse store to raise funds for patients at QEHB

The new Mountain Warehouse store, which has recently opened at the Selly Oak Shopping Park, will be raising money for patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham through sales of their stylish tote bags.

The bags, featuring five eye-catching prints, are being sold by the outdoor retailer across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, with each store selecting a local charity for the profits to be donated to. Mountain Warehouse, which caters for an extensive range of outdoor activities, including walking, running, cycling, camping and skiing, decided to choose QEHB Charity as its partner for the Selly Oak store.

Mountain Warehouse founder Mark Neale said “At Mountain Warehouse we are passionate about supporting the local communities our stores are a part of. Each of our stores receives fantastic support from their local customers, and we are thrilled to be launching a collection which will be giving something back to so many good causes.”

Sophie Carroll, Senior Fundraiser at QEHB Charity said: "The Charity is delighted to have been selected by Mountain Warehouse as the charity partner for their new store in Selly Oak. The store is just a stone's throw away from the hospital, so it is wonderful that the profits from these stylish bags will be supporting such a local cause.

"The money that we'll receive from these bags will help us to provide further 'added extras' for patients and their families at QEHB."
